Facilities
Lawson College Australia maintains the equipment quality and facility requirements for each Training Program and guarantees it has access to equipment needed to implement the program.
Classrooms
Classrooms are equipped with projectors and whiteboards. Classrooms are furnished with comfortable and appropriate furniture and equipment for effective learning to take place. All classrooms are fitted with projectors for audio / video and are air conditioned to provide cooling and heating. Classroom capacity is adequate for delivering the programs.
Computer Laboratory
At Lawson College you will have full use of computers/laptops provided in the computer lab. However, we do encourage students to bring their own personal laptops. Students will be provided with a generic user name and password if they wish to use the Lawson College computers. Printing/scanning facilities are also available in the computer lab.
Practical Skills Laboratory – Community Services
Lawson College Australia has a dedicated Practical Skills Laboratory – Community Services, on site at our Lonsdale Street Campus. Students undertaking relevant Community Services programs and units of competency can be trained in the practical skills required for roles in settings which provide individual care and/or aged care services. A range of equipment and tools are used in the Practical Skills Laboratory which can simulate contemporary community service settings and scenarios.
Staff Offices
Equipped with comfortable furniture, lockable cupboards, filing cabinets, internet, multifunction printers and copiers. Wireless Internet is freely available throughout Lawson College Australia premises.
Library
The Lawson College library is equipped with an excellent selection of textbooks. Students can borrow books, use the photocopier and the adjacent Study area for personal study.
